Dr. Rafi Gidron
Founder and Co-CEO
Before founding Coriolis Wind, Rafi was co-founder and partner in Precede Technologies,
an entrepreneurship and investment firm focused on high growth markets such as alternative energy. Prior to that, he was co-founder, co-CEO and Chairman of Chromatis Networks,
a company he started in 1997. Chromatis, a game-changing optical equipment company, was
sold to Lucent in May 2000 for $4.75 billion. Before Chromatis, Rafi was Chairman of Scorpio Communications Ltd. and President of Scorpio Communications Inc., which he founded in 1993.
Scorpio was sold to US Robotics in 1996 for $72 million. Rafi also served as an associate director of the Center for Telecommunications Research at Columbia University. Rafi holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University in New York City. |

Orni Petruschka
Founder and Co-CEO
Orni was co-founder and partner at Precede Technologies, an entrepreneurship and investment firm that initiated multiple cleantech companies including Coriolis Wind. Prior to Precede and Coriolis, he was co-founder and co-CEO of Chromatis Networks, a company he started in 1997 to develop optical equipment for the telecom market. Chromatis was sold to Lucent in May 2000 for $4.75 billion after establishing itself as a world leader in its field. Prior to Chromatis, Orni served as CEO of Scorpio Communications Ltd. which he co-founded in 1993 and managed until it was sold to US Robotics in 1996 for $72 million. Orni also served as the head of systems engineering for ECI Telecom’s optical communications line and did telecommunications research at Telcordia (formerly Bellcore).
Orni earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Technion in Haifa and a Masters degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. |

Dr. Shuki Sheinman
Founder and CTO
Shuki has more than 25 years in the wind energy industry including leadership of wind turbine research at the Israeli Ministry of Energy. An innovator and inventor with numerous patents, he is an expert in aeronautics and is the creative force behind the unique wind energy systems in development at Coriolis Wind. Additionally, Shuki has led the development of many advanced technology systems and managed R&D and engineering teams for multiple leading hi-tech companies. Prior to founding Coriolis Wind in 2007, Shuki led multiple areas of new technology research and development at NASA, Jemtex, Scitex, Cubital and El-Op. He has multiple degrees in Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering and earned a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technion in Israel. |

Jeff Kunst
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Jeff brings more than 15 years of executive level technology and business experience
to Coriolis Wind. Before Coriolis, he was responsible
for product management, marketing and business development
at MobileAccess, a leading cellular
technology company, and Kirana Networks, a privately
held optical switching company. From 1998 to 2001,
Jeff was director of product management at Chromatis
Networks and, after acquisition by Lucent,
was VP of marketing for Lucent’s metroMSX product family.
Jeff also held senior business and engineering positions
at Newbridge Networks, Hughes Networks
Systems, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Jeff has a BSEE
from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a MSEE from The
George Washington University. |

Albert Olier
Founder and Vice President, Research and Development
Albert has many years of experience as an engineer, technical manager, project leader and business development manager. Most recently, Albert was co-founder and partner of Precede Technologies, an entrepreneurship and investment firm that founded Coriolis Wind. Albert also recently led the marketing and business development activities of ZettaLight, a start-up technology company in the optical components market. In 1998, Albert founded the optical communications group of Chromatis Networks and led the hardware engineering teams after the acquisition of Chromatis by Lucent Technologies in 2000. Albert also served as a senior hardware engineer at Scorpio Communications from 1993 to 1996 and conducted systems engineering activities at US Robotics after Scorpio was acquired. Prior to that, Albert led various advanced projects in avionic systems. Albert holds a Masters degree and a Bachelors of Science (Cum Laude) degree, both in Electrical Engineering, from the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel. |
